Group Earns TLMI Environmental Leadership Award
Lauterbach Group, a provider of solution driven printing, packaging and converting products to the direct
response, food and beverage, and brand security / authentication industries continues its strong emphasis
on productivity improvement and environmental stewardship. TLMI has awarded the Lauterbach Group
with the Environmental Leadership Award, which recognizes the demonstrated commitment and results in
environmental practices.
The award is based on the quantitative measurement and results of environmental practices in the
following area:
- Reducing solid waste
- Expanding a recycling project
- Recovery of waste or energy
- Implementing new “clean” technology or process
- Implementing education programs

Group Hosts FTA Great Lakes The first meeting of FTA Great Lakes was a huge success. The Lauterbach Group did an excellent job of hosting the event. The way that they have brought sustainability into the fiber of their corporate culture is amazing. Rebecca Kerschinske, Lauterbach Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said that to Lauterbach, "sustainability is profitability", talking about the economic, social, employment and environmental benefits of their approach.
She said "productivity builds sustainability into their business model", improving efficiencies, lowering operating costs, improving quality and promoting a healthy, productive workplace, She said their process improvements include lean/Six Sigma, systematic elimination of waste, standardized work and scientific problem solving. Group Receives Training Grant The Lauterbach Group has received a Customize Labor Training Grant (CLT) of $25,000 from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce in conjunction with is [e1]newly planned facility in Sussex, Wisconsin. The CLT program is designed to assist companies invest in new technologies or manufacturing processes by providing a grant of up to 50% of the cost of training employees on the new technologies. The program will allow Lauterbach Group to maintain a workforce that is on the cutting edge of technological printing innovation. Read more
